On one of the few days home in London, we decided to give the Restaurant at the Sanderson a try. We were attracted by the very good value set dinner offer at £28 for 3 courses and a free cocktail.
Dont shy away from the somewhat less than attractive exterior of the hotel, the interior is skillfully renovated. When we arrived for our early evening booking, it was still very quiet and our waiter was extremely attentive.
We both decided to start with the smoked salmon...
and both agreed on the hanger steak as a main, which was excellent and served with very aromatic chips.
For dessert we agreed on a warm bitter chocolate mousse with coconut ice cream which was very creamy and evidently used a high quality chocolate as ingredient
