I followed a recommendation - those who know me know that it is not in my DNA to do things without my own research - but in this case I really not regret this.
Quintin is located in the poshest area of Madrid, just off Calle Serrano. It was my first time in this particular part of town and I must say I plan to go back to check out the neighbourhood in more detail, plenty of nice places around there.
As so often in Madrid, we were among the first to arrive (at 13.30) and were shown to a table in the cosy basement.
As this was a quick lunch between meetings; we only went for a main course and both rather unimaginatively selected Pasta with meatballs. The little twist was a texture which was firm on the outside and filled with very tender oxtail inside.
Content and saturated we went on to the next meetings, and will keep Quintin on the to do list for the next dining experience.
